Special Collections

Journal of Portuguese Linguistics (JPL) considers proposals for guest-edited Special Collections. These do not differ from the journal’s standard publishing cycle, with articles published on a rolling basis throughout the year. These articles also sit within their own Special Collection on a separate journal webpage.

Researchers interested in publishing a Special Collection should fill in JPL’s Special Collection form with basic information on their proposal: title, guest editors’ identification and CV, Special Collection scope, Special Collection contribution to the field of Portuguese Linguistics (e.g., motivation, relevance, novelty), target audience, peer review planning, Special Collection production schedule, including a launch date and announcement date, a call for other submissions (if applicable), and any funding available to cover APCs (if applicable).
